Edinburgh record label Paradise Palms presents a brand new EP from electronic musician John Bryden aka Eyes of Others. Gloomy but with a luminous edge, Stimulus sees Bryden creating dark, chugging moods driven by an ensemble of drum machine loops and a broken Yamaha CS01 – elevated by introspective lyrics, haunting vocals and a baggy pop quality.
Counting Andrew Weatherall, Geoffrey Mugwump and Sordid Sound System amongst his fans, Bryden’s track ‘Like It When It’s Lazy’ also caught the ear of electronic pioneer Das Ding (Minimal Wave, Pinkman) who has contributed a tense and sinister 7 minute remix to the EP.
‘Stimulus’ is available digitally on 10th November, distributed by EPM and available from iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify and other stores. For DJ promo or further information, please contact info@planetdust-pr.com.
